Mentoring and getting opportunity to discuss the ideas and share their possible career path would be boon for the students, young professionals and early researchers. For the first time, IEEE CloudNet is hosting a mentoring session as part of the conference. The goal of the mentoring session is to facilitate one to one structured but informal interactions between undergraduate, graduate students (Mentees), Young professionals with highlight renowned academicians or industry experts (Mentors) around the world as a part of CloudNet 2021.
This is a unique opportunity for Mentees to meet and network as well as seek mentorship from Mentors. We will be having a dedicated mentor-mentee sessions scheduled during the conference.
The mentors and mentees will meet in a single virtual room for getting to know each other well. Followed by that each mentee will be pre-matched with one or more mentors based on their research interests.
Typical questions asked by the mentees (not limited to) to mentors
- What career path should I choose?
- Should I pursue research or go to industry?
- This is my Idea, is it worth starting my own venture?
- Technical know how based on the specific expertise
- Opportunities in the field of Cloud networking
- Any other technical/managerial/career related questions
In this regard, we are looking for eminent researchers/experts in the field of Cloud Networking who are willing to contribute in these sessions.
As an expert (Keynote speakers, Invited Speakers, Organizing Committee members, IEEE Senior members, etc.), we request you to get onto one to one interaction with the student/young Professional.
